Long bike path of the Dolomites
Just 10 minutes from Auronzo di Cadore and from our hotel Centrale, a spectacular itinerary starts, departing from Calalzo di Cadore and arriving in Dobbiaco, but you can also travel in the opposite direction. This Lunga via delle Dolomiti cycle path is inserted in a truly magnificent context enclosed by the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Along this cycle path you will realize the natural beauty of our mountains on the border with Trentino Alto Adige, traditions and flavors rich in history and legends, traditions and flavors, you will cross the villages of Cortina, San Vito di Cadore, Borca di Cadore, Vodo of Cadore, Valle di Cadore, Pieve di Cadore and Calalzo di Cadore. This cycle path has also been built on the historic train route of the former Dolomites railway and so you will be able to admire a scenery dotted with majestic peaks rich in history and traditions.
The Long way of the Dolomites is counted as one of the most beautiful bike paths in Europe: the merit must obviously be given to the surrounding landscape, including the most famous peaks of the Dolomites: from Antelao to Pelmo, from Croce Marcora to Tofane.
Along the way you will find suggestive galleries, bridges exposed on streams and deep canals; is an itinerary accessible to all, connected to the north with the major centers of the Val Pusteria and to Austria.
